  • 授業フォーカス：
    学習のための英語（English for Academic Purposes）プログラムは、学生が将来海外で勉強することになる場合を準備するために作られました。このプログラムは、学生が学習の成長を成す時に基礎となるものです。

    授業の目的、長点：
    学 習のための英語プログラムを受講する学生たちは、最終的目標としてELSとパートナー関係である650校以上の大学の条件付き入学を考えるようになりま す。 12個の全レベルを履修する学生には、全過程の履修証明書が発行されますが、この証明書は650校の大学に入学願書提出する際、英語実力を公証する文書と なります。

    カリキュラム：
    全レベルの学生たちは、共通的に読み取り・書き込みレッスンと言語センターの授業を受けるようになり、 初級者（101-103レベル）たちと中級者（108-109レベル）たちは文の構造・スピーキング授業と英単語、高級者（110-112レベル）たちは 言語学と能力向上の授業を別々に受けるようになります。

在紐黑文大學上完課，整個人都變得更活潑了！學校每個老師都有自己的教學風格，課堂上不會僅僅只是老師說、學生聽，而是用互動的方式讓我們享受學習英文的樂趣。在紐黑文大學上課的期間，早上讀寫和下午聽說各有不同老師，所以隨著等級的不同，我總共上過8位老師的課。通常老師喜歡讓學生以團體或小組的方式進行課程的討論，如果沒有發言，老師還會特別和你對話！有些老師喜歡用遊戲比賽的方式讓課堂變得有趣味性，班上的同學也會為了贏得比賽而相互合作，絞盡腦汁全力以赴。也有老師會藉由課堂的主題帶我們深入其境，而不是紙上空談。我印象最深刻的莫過於下午聽說課程時，老師前一週在課堂上教我們一些法庭上會用到的相關單字，然後隔週就帶我們到實際的法庭觀摩審判，結合實際生活體驗，學習的印象更深刻，而不是只侷限在教室裡。除了課堂上的學習生活多采多姿之外，學校的設備也是一應俱全，除了有電腦教室可以讓你搜尋作業尚需要的資料和家人聯繫之外，我也很喜歡學校的圖書館。學校內的圖書也有依等級區分，所以不用擔心找不到適合自己閱讀的書本。更棒的是，除了圖書和雜誌之外，也有很多媒材資源可以外借，圖書館對我來說簡直就像是一個寶庫。
除了有著歡樂的課堂時光之外，每週五還有全校性的大活動-畢業典禮，每個當週畢業的學生，只要出席率達到標準都會被授予結業證書，同時還會在全校師生面前發表自己的感言，很多同學講感言時不免都會哽咽，我還一直跟自己說，等到自己畢業時，絕對不能哭。只是，誰知道我除了哽咽之外還淚流滿面了，真的太捨不得學校的同學和老師了。
