位　置

宿泊オプション

  • WKUはキャンパスに15軒の寮を提供します。ピアースフォードタワー(PFT)やバーンズキャンベルは1年開いてあるので、ほとんどの学生はここに住むことになります。PTFはキャンパス南にある27階の女性専用寮です。1970年に建てられ、ケンタッキーでは一番高さの高い寮でもあります。PTFは2009年にリニューアルされ、TVラウンジ、学生センターが提供されます。1996年に建てられたバーンズキャンベルは男性専用寮です。2003年に改造され、スポーツセンターの向こうにあるキャンパスの南端にあります。

学校周辺の環境

  • キャンパスはBowling Greenが見える丘にあり、人口約60,000人であります。テネシー州のナッシュビルまで車で約1時間かかります。ルイスビールの南部までは車で約2時間かかります。WKUはアメリカでもっとも美しいキャンパスの一つで有名です。学生達ははっきりしている季節と1年間にとおって温暖なお天気を楽しめます。

關於密集課程?
Q: 您好，感謝您的提問。關於西肯塔基大學的密集英語課程分為以下幾點跟您說明。 課程內容的部分包括聽力，閱讀，口語/發音，作文，詞彙和語法的課程。聽力班，學生將於課堂教室內外，使用多種方是來練習聽力技巧。至於口語/發音，學生可以在各種場合發言並獲得信心。學生們將舒適地隨意交談，正式對話，課堂報告，等等。在閱讀課程中，將培養學生一流的閱讀練習和個性化的閱讀計劃。在作文課程中，學生們將夠過指導練習書寫基本段落。然後學習研究，整理並撰寫研究論文。語法教學中包含聽力，口語，閱讀，寫作的範圍。

我參加西肯塔基大學是在2014年的九月，再來美國之前，我就有想去美國開開眼界，念語言學校增進英文能力，所以下定決心出國。後來經過留學網的介紹，知道了西肯塔基大學，美麗的校園，完備的設施以及華人較少的特點讓我選擇了西肯塔基大學。

西肯塔基大學利用小班制的教學以及現職WKU大學教授的師資創造出與一般學校截然不同的課程。由於小班的教學，每一堂課教授都會提出非常多的問題來問我們，也特別關心我們每一位同學的學習。這樣的課程模式，讓我在短時間內英語能力迅速提升。我想謝謝西肯塔基大學的幫助，讓我在之後的申請大學有了萬全的準備。
